On 12 October the New Zealand Government announced a new “legal
highs” regime which is very much in line with the sorts of reforms Australia21
has advocated for Australia, only to have the idea dismissed out of hand by
both Government and Opposition.

Hopefully in due course our Government will look across the
Tasman and learn something from the New Zealand experience.
